Capitals send 20 year old forward Max Bulawka to Langley for future considerations

The Cowichan Capitals have traded 20 year old forward Max Bulawka to the Langley Rivermen in exchange for future considerations. Bulawka spent the pod season with the Capitals after being acquired during the extended offseason from Vernon. In the 20 game pod season Bulawka scored 4 goals and finished with 9 points. Bulawka split the 2019/20 season between the West Kelowna Warriors and Vernon Vipers registering 35 points in 55 games.

“It was really hard to move Max, as he was a great teammate and member of the Capitals for the 2020-21 season, we had an overload of 20 year olds in our forward group and needed to land Max to a team and situation where he would have success this 2021-22 season. We wish Max the very best with the Langley Rivermen and success with his hockey career moving forward” said Capitals Head Coach & General Manager Brian Passmore.

The Capitals thank Max for his time spent with the Capitals and wish him the best of luck with Langley.

Capitals training camp opens September 17th, with the opening preseason game taking place September 21st at 2:00PM against the Powell River Kings at the Cowichan Community Centre. Cowichan begins the 2021/22 season at home October 9th against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
