The Cowichan Valley Capitals are a Junior Ice Hockey Team based in Duncan, BC. We are one of 18 member teams in the British Columbia Hockey League, which is widely considered the top Junior hockey league in Canada. Every year the BCHL develops and advances players to the collegiate and professional hockey ranks.
The Capitals call the Cowichan Community Centre home, and have since returning to the Valley in 1993. During this time, the arena has received several upgrades and now includes individual seating, luxury suites and several other amenities offered by professional arenas. The Capitals have a loyal fanbase that extends across the Cowichan Valley and other parts of the island & province. Capitals games are the entertainment of choice for Cowichan locals and visitors alike. Fans ritually brave the cold, wind, fog, rain & snow to cheer on their Capitals.
