TRADE | GABRIEL ANCTIL The Cowichan Capitals have acquired 2008-born defenceman Gabriel Anctil from the Chilliwack Chiefs in exchange for future considerations. The 6-foot-2, 196-pound left-shot defenceman recorded nine points in 23 games with Chilliwack last season after beginning the year with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens of the QMJHL. Prior to making the jump to junior hockey, Anctil led all Quebec U18 AAA defencemen with 44 points in 39 games and was named the league’s Top Defenceman and a First Team All-Star.
