Cowichan Valley Capitals Volunteers

Join us for our Volunteer meeting at the Cowichan Community Centre – Genoa Room

Friday, September 2nd @7pm

The Cowichan Capitals Hockey Club is looking to add to our already great group of Volunteers for the 2022/23 BCHL season.Our Volunteers are instrumental in the successful operation of your Cowichan Valley Capitals. Our group is an outgoing and energetic group who enjoy interacting with fans and fellow volunteers. Volunteers are expected to act  in a pleasant and respectful manner while helping to enforce the regulations of the building and providing any help that may be needed to the public.


We are looking for volunteers to help in the following areas:

  • Ushers
  • 50/50 Sales
  • Booster Booth & Merchandise Table
  • Anthem Singers
  • Game Day Promotions & Intermission Event staff
  • Ice Crew
  • Photography & Digital Media


Volunteers will receive:

  • Uniform jacket supplied by the Capitals
  • Name tag, with Capitals Lanyard
  • Discounts on Capitals Merchandise
  • other great perks


Volunteers Must:

  • be 15 years of age or older
  • be able to interact confidently and politely with fans and arena staff
  • must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • be able to arrive at the rink at your designated start time


Volunteering is a great way to give back to our community. It is an excellent opportunity for high school students to fulfill their required volunteer hours.
