The Capitals are excited to announce the commitment of 18 year old Sebastian Hamming from St George’s U18 Prep team. Hamming, originally of Edmonton, Alberta has spent the past 3 years at St. George’s, with their U18 Prep and U15 teams. Hamming stands 5’9″ and weighs 185 lbs. Over the last two seasons on the U18 Prep team, Hamming played in 37 games and recorded 18 points.
“Sebastian is a smart player, plays his position very well and is consistent. He is the type of player that can be relied upon defensively and has the ability to chip in offensively. Coming from a great program like St. George’s school, we know he has been coached very well and prepared to play in the BCHL” said Capitals Head Coach and General Manager Brian Passmore.
In his last full season with St. George’s in 2019/20, Hamming lead St. George’s defencemen with 6 goals and finished with 17 points.
