O’Donnell hails from Fairfield, Connecticut and has spent the past 3 seasons playing in the United States High School Prep League and Belmont Hill Academy. This season in 30 games, he finished with a team high 43 points, including 24 goals, 10 more than the next highest scorer. A right shot winger, O’Donnell is listed at 6’3″ – 190lbs, and has showcased the skill and finish to combine with the size. Ronan is committed to the Yale Bulldogs NCAA Division 1 Hockey Program after graduating from junior hockey.

In the 2021/22 season O’Donnell also led Belmont Hill in scoring with 32 points in 24 games, and in his grade 10 year the season before, his 15 goals in 30 games were the 3rd most on the team. He was also an invitee to the BioSteel USA Hockey Boys U17 camp, which is a tryout for Team USA’s U18 team competing in the annual Hlinka Gretzky Cup.

Welcome to Cowichan Ronan!
