Capitals commit to 2004 born defenceman Eddie Romano for 2023/24

The Cowichan capitals are exited to announce the commitment of 2004 born defenceman Eddie Romano for the 2023/24 season. Romano, from Farmingdale, New York played for the Long Island Gulls U18 program last season, recording 3 points in 11 games. Listed at 6’0” – 195lbs Romano is a left shot defenceman that will bring a lot to the Capitals defensive core for next season.In 2021/22 Romano played at the South Kent Prep School for their U18 AAA team, where Cowichan has recruited players from before, most recently bringing in forwards Matt Crasa and Primo Self from the school for the 2019/20 season. At South Kent, Romano registered 18 points in 47 games from the blue line.Welcome to Cowichan Eddie!
