Capitals commit to 2005 born forward Brock Cummings for 2023/24

The Cowichan Capitals are excited to announce the commitment of 2005 born forward Brock Cummings for the 2023/24 season. Cummings will join the Capitals for the upcoming season after spending the last two seasons playing United States High School Prep Hockey at Belmont Hill School. A playmaking centre-man, Cummings hails from Mississauga, Ontario and is listed at 6’2″ – 195 having just turned 18 in March of this year. In 30 games in the USHS Prep league, Cummings finished 2nd on team scoring with 8 goals and 40 points, distributing the puck for a team high 32 assists, and only trailing fellow Capitals commitment Ronan O’Donnell for the team lead in points. He finished 2nd among Canadian born players in points in the USHS Prep League last season.

In 2021/22 Cummings finished with 5 goals and 13 points in 27 games as a 16 year old in the High School League. Cummings will add energy, size, and puck moving to the middle of the ice for Cowichan for the upcoming season.
