The Cowichan Capitals are excited to announce the acquisition of 2005 born defenceman Frederic Deschenes from the West Kelowna Warriors in exchange for future considerations. Deschenes, from Sorel-Tracy Quebec is in his first BCHL season after playing in the USHL last year. In 17 games with West Kelowna, he has recorded 2 goals and 5 points. With Des Moine in 2022/23 Deschenes dressed in 41 games recording 6 points.
Frederic is listed at 6’1” and 181lbs and has a commitment to Michigan State University after graduating junior hockey. Welcome to Cowichan Frederic!
