Capitals sign 19 year old goaltender Ethan Morrow

The Cowichan Capitals are excited to announce the signing of 2004 born goaltender Ethan Morrow to the roster. Morrow has spent the first half of the season in the AJHL with the Blackfalds Bulldogs, and joins the Capitals for the rest of the season. The Capitals held Morrow’s BCHL playing rights after acquiring him as future considerations from last years trade deadline deal that sent Luke Strickland to the OJHL’s Wellington Dukes. After the BCHL became an independent league from Hockey Canada and the Canadian Junior Hockey League, Morrow’s CJHL rights were traded to Blackfalds, where he played up until now.

This season with the Bulldogs, Morrow has a record of 10-8-3 with a GAA of 3.25 and SV% of .875, last season with Wellington he went 20-6-1 with a 2.37 GAA and .911 SV%. He also was selected to represent Team Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge, playing in all 6 games for Canada East.

Welcome to Cowichan Ethan!
