Capitals acquire 20 year old Minnesota commit Brady Yakesh from Cranbrook

The Cowichan Capitals are excited to announce the acquisition of 2003 born defenceman Brady Yakesh from the Cranbrook Bucks in exchange for future considerations. Yakesh from Delano, Minnesota played 57 games in the USHL last season between the Sioux Falls Stampede and Madison Capitols registering 2 goals and 14 points. This summer he committed to move to the BCHL and played two games with Cranbrook before being acquired by Cowichan. Yakesh is committed to play NCAA Division 1 Hockey with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers next season after graduating from junior hockey.
