Capitals acquire 18 year old defenceman Pier-Olivier Allard from Hawkesbury

The Cowichan Capitals are excited to announce the acquisition of 2004 born defenceman Pier-Olivier Allard from the Hawkesbury Hawks of the CCHL in exchange for 2004 born forward Brandon Clarke. Allard, from Quebec stands at 5’11” and is in his rookie season of junior hockey. In 19 games this season he has 1 goal and 4 points. Last season with the Ontario Hockey Academy U18 team Allard finished with 22 points including 7 goals, both of which led the teams defencemen scoring.

Clarke played in 11 games with the Capitals this season, and did not record a point. The Capitals wish Brandon the best of luck in Hawkesbury, and thank him for his time spent with the Capitals and in the Cowichan Valley.

The Capitals next home game is Sunday December 4th against Salmon Arm at 2PM. It’s another minor hockey day so all minor hockey players wearing their jersey to the game receive free admission! Also the Capitals are collecting donations of non-perishable food items which will be donated to 89.7 Juice FM’s Stuff the Truck fundraiser! Juice FM will also be broadcasting live at the Cowichan Community Centre from 12-2 before the game! For tickets visit the Capitals office!
