Duncan, BC – Former Cowichan Capitals forward Gavin Nemis has signed with the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League.
Nemis joined the Capitals for the 2025-26 season and quickly became an important piece of the club’s success. In 50 regular-season games, the 2006-born forward recorded 20 goals and 48 points, helping the Capitals capture first place in the Coastal Conference.
The Winnipeg, Manitoba product continued to produce in the postseason, registering one goal and five points in 10 playoff games as Cowichan advanced to the second round of the BCHL playoffs.
The Cowichan Capitals would like to thank Gavin for his contributions to the organization and wish him continued success in Kamloops and throughout his hockey career.
