Congratulations to former Capitals Goalie – Laurent Brossoit, who claimed his first NHL win as an Oiler while defeating the Calgary Flames 7-3 at the Scotiabank Saddledome last Saturday (Jan 21st).
Laurent, originally from Port Alberni, BC (Cloverdale), played with the Capitals as a 16 year old for the 2009 – 2010 season.
Laurent was drafted by the Calgary Flames in round 6 – 164th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft and originally came to the Oilers in 2013 for Ladislav Smid
