Dimitri Mikrogiannakis commits to RIT!

The Cowichan Capitals are happy to announce that 19-year-old defenceman Dimitri Mikrogiannakis has committed to the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) for the 2020-2021 season. Mikrogiannakis is in his first year as a Capital after being acquired from the Newmarket Hurricanes of the OJHL early this season. The Aurora, Ontario product has 3 goals and 8 assists this season for 11 points in 19 games.

Mikrogiannakis joins forwards Adam Conquest (Bowling Green University), Niko Selivanov (Lake Superior State University), and injured forward Jordan Robert (Clarkson University) as the Capitals with NCAA Commitments.

Congrats Mikro!

You can catch Mikrogiannakis in action this week as the Capitals have a pair of road games. Tuesday the Caps make their second trip to Alberni Valley this season, and Friday Cowichan visits Nanaimo for the third time of four this year.
