Duncan, BC – The Cowichan Capitals are pleased to announce that General Manager and Head Coach Cam Keith has signed a multi-year contract extension with the organization.
Keith took over as the Capitals’ Head Coach and General Manager ahead of the 2024-25 season and made an immediate impact in Cowichan. Under his leadership, the Capitals have posted a 69-32-7 record, which included a Coastal Conference regular-season title in 2025-26, finishing the year with a 38-13-3 mark. Cowichan has carried that success into the Rogers BCHL Playoffs, reaching the Coastal Conference Semifinals in back-to-back years.
Beyond the results on the ice, Keith has continued to shape the Capitals’ roster and establish the program’s identity as the organization looks to build on the momentum generated last season. With Keith now committed to the organization on a multi-year agreement, the Capitals will enter the upcoming season with continuity behind the bench and in hockey operations as the club continues its pursuit of a BCHL Championship.
The Cowichan Capitals organization is excited to have Cam and his family remain in the Cowichan Valley and looks forward to continuing to build together in the seasons ahead.
The Capitals open the 2026-27 regular season on Friday, September 18, when they welcome the Victoria Grizzlies to the Cowichan Community Centre for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop. You can purchase your season tickets here.
