Capitals Edged By Bulldogs in Game 3

Game 3 saw the Alberni Valley Bulldogs escaped the confines of the Cowichan Community Centre with a 3-2 victory over the Capitals on Tuesday. Although the shot totals may paint a different picture, the game was very tightly contested and went right down to the final buzzer. The Bulldogs held a late 3-2 lead and were able to withstand a late surge by the Capitals to hang on for the victory.

The Caps now find themselves on the brink of elimination and must come away with a game 4 victory to keep their season alive. The Capitals will be in tough as a couple key contributors will be out of the lineup due to injuries and suspensions. The Caps will need to dig deep and grind their way to a victory.

Game 4 goes tonight at the Big Stick in Duncan. Tickets are still available and can be purchased in the Capitals office, or over the phone at 250-748-9930. We are encouraging fans to purchase their tickets in advance to avoid long lines and wait times at the box office.

Should the Capitals win tonight, game 5 will take place in Port Alberni on Friday.
