The Cowichan Capitals are excited to announce the commitment of 2001 born Import forward David Jacobs for the 2021-2022 season. Jacobs a right handed shooting forward out of Needham, Massachusetts will join the Caps for his 20 year old season, before continuing his hockey career at the collegiate level having already committed to Princeton University. Jacobs stands 5’9″ and weighs in at 165 lbs, while playing his last three seasons at the Nobles and Greenough school in Dedham, Massachusetts in 2019/20. That season Jacobs finished second on the team in scoring with 15 goals, and a team leading, 30 assists for 45 points in 27 games.
“David is an offensive forward with high level playmaking abilities and great vision with and without the puck. He can finish around the net and will be a great asset for us up front and at even-strength, we’re excited to have David on our team next year” said Capitals Head Coach and General Manager Brian Passmore.
Over his three seasons at Noble and Greenough, Jacobs played in 84 games and finished with 25 goals and 61 assists for 86 points in the United States High School Prep League.
