The Cowichan Capitals are excited to announce the commitment of 2004 born defenceman Adam Bourgeois for the 2023/2024 BCHL season. Bourgeois, from Fort St. John BC has played in 26 career BCHL games, including 6 this year as an affiliate for the Capitals. Listed at 5’11” and 170 lbs the 18 year old currently plays for the North Okanagan Knights of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League, the interior BC junior ‘b’ circuit. This season in 26 games, Bourgeois had 4 goals and 20 points, and has added 3 goals and 8 points in 4 playoff games, as the Knights currently lead their first round Best-of-Seven series against Osoyoos 3-1. In the regular season he led Knights defencemen in goals, while tying for the most points amoung blue-liners, having played in less than half as many games.
