The Capitals have added 2002 forward John Little from the Western Hockey League’s Tri-City Americans and 2002 defenceman Aidan De La Gorgendiere of the Saskatoon Blades on loan until December 20th, 2020.
Little, from Parksville spent last season with Tri-City and the Vancouver Giants, scoring once and finishing with 5 points. In 2018/19 Little played for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks scoring 10 goals and 26 points in 53 games.
“John has great speed and has BCHL experience. John can play anywhere in our lineup and contribute offensively. A player with high character” said Capitals Head Coach and General Manager.
The Capitals have also added left shot defender Aidan De La Gorgendiere from the Saskatoon Blades, De La Gorgendiere scored four times and tallied 28 points last season, 8th most on the team.
“Aidan is smart, quick and sees the ice really well. He is very competitive and is a really nice addition to our defensive core” said Passmore.
