The Cowichan Capitals have acquired 2001 forward Brett Fudger, 20002 forward Colby Feist and future considerations from the Vernon Vipers in exchange for 2000 forward Will Arquiett.
Both Fudger and Feist spent last season with the Vipers, playing their first season of junior hockey. Fudger played in 48 games scoring 2 goals and 12 assists for 14 points, while Feist dressed in 34 games recording 2 goals and 8 points. Fudger comes out of the Cariboo Cougars BC Major Midget Hockey League, where he was over a point per game in his final season two years ago, recording 15 goals and 40 points in 39 games. Feist also played Major Midget for the Okanagan Rockets, finishing 5th in team scoring two years ago with 18 goals and 37 points in 33 games.
