CAPITALS ACQUIRE 19 YEAR OLD FORWARD MAX BULAWKA FROM VERNON

The Cowichan Capitals are excited to announce the acquisition of 2001 born forward Max Bulawka from the Vernon Vipers in exchange for future considerations. Bulawka is in his 4th season of junior hockey after making the West Kelowna Warriors as a 16 year old in 2017/18. Last season Bulawka was with the Warriors for the first half of the season with both Capitals defenceman Austin Chorney and forward Jacob Brockman. At the trade deadline he was moved to Vernon where he played with two more current Caps in Brett Fudger and Colby Feist. Last season Max scored 20 goals and 25 points in 55 games between Vernon and West Kelowna.

“Max is  entering his 4th BCHL season. he has really good playing experience both regular season and playoffs , he is an offensive player; who will be able to play an offensive roll with our club. Max was a 20 goal scorer last season and he hopes to build on that total this season in Cowichan” said Capitals Head Coach and General Manager Brian Passmore.
