BURNABY, B.C. – The 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs got going over the weekend and this year, no matter what the outcome, there will be a significant amount of BCHL representation all the way to the Cup Finals.
This season, 22 league alumni are on playoff rosters, which is up 10 from last year’s postseason.
The Colorado Avalanche and Nashville Predators lead the way with three BCHL alumni each, while the Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota Wild, New York Islanders, Toronto Maple Leafs, Washington Capitals and Winnipeg Jets have two each on their rosters.
In total, 12 of the 16 playoff teams have at least one former BCHL representative.
Two of those players are on taxi squad rosters, while the other 20 are on the active roster.
To help you decide who you will be cheering for over the coming weeks, here is a full list of BCHL alumni on NHL playoff rosters.
