2010 ELITE CONDITIONING CAMP
The Elite Conditioning Camp is designed to increase a player's pace of play while developing the execution of individual skill mechanics.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
- Maximum 25 skaters per group
- NHL-style Practices
- 1.5 hours on ice daily including power skating and skill development

The program is designed for elite players that are serious about taking their game to a higher level. The camp encompasses power skating, on-ice individual skill development, game situation drills including specific, scrimmages, off-ice shooting and puck skill development, off-ice strength and conditioning, and hot yoga. It is an all inclusive program that is designed to give each player the opportunity to reach their goals for the upcoming 2010/11 season.
Players will be grouped according to age and ability. It is our main objective in the Elite Conditioning Camp to put together a group of players who have reached a high level of the basic skills for their age, and are thus prepared to undertake a more rigorous program with regard to skating, passing and shooting, puck control, checking and team play. Players accepted into this program will be exposed to the best instruction available. Each group will have a qualified, experienced head instructor.
Head Coach and Instructor Dale Purinton
Dale is the Head Coach for the Cowichan Valley Capitals; he brings an enthusiastic and disciplined approach to the game, and believes success comes from conditioning and a “Team” first attitude.
Dale was selected in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft and has played in 181 NHL games; he also played for their AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack, and the ECHL's Charlotte Checkers. Dale also played for a trio of WHL teams, including a two-year stop in Lethbridge where he helped the Hurricanes reach the 1997 Memorial Cup final. Dale signed with the Colorado Avalanche in 2007 and joined the Lake Erie Monsters for a stint in the AHL, 2 years later Dale decided to hang up the skates to focus on family life as a husband and a father to his three young boys. Dale is a coach that works hard to develop players to make them their best player through rigorous on ice and off ice programs that are both challenging and fun. Motivating players and empowering them with the confidence to perform at their maximum ability is Dale’s specialty.

CALIBER AND AGE REQUIREMENTS: Players must have played Bantam, Midget, Major Midget, Jr B or Jr A level

COST:
$200.00 per week, however, book for both weeks and save $50.00 (therefore $350.00)
WHAT IS PROVIDED:
