Community involvement is a key component of our organization. The Cowichan Valley Capitals players take part in many events both on and off the ice. Our players are committed to being role models for the youth of Duncan, through literary programs and mentoring in the schools as well as other various community events.

Halloween 2009

A fun filled Halloween night resulted in a great time by all.

Cowichan Capitals line up to cook burgers and hot dogs for fans at Thrifty Foods in Duncan Cowichan Capitals line up to cook burgers and hot dogs for fans at Thrifty Foods in Duncan.

Lots of Capitals fans braved the wet weather to get the chance to meet the new and veteran players for the first time.

Thrifty Foods sponsored the Season Ticket holder pick up event, unfortunately
the weather wasn’t the best, but the Hot dogs and hamburgers were great. Players handed out their season tickets and collected donations for the Local Food Bank.

A big Thank you Thrifty Foods for supplying the burgers and hot dogs for the event, and to those brought donations for the food bank.
