Zaires, from the Westside Warriors. Zaires, this completes the trade that sent forward
Clinton Pettapiece to the Warriors, for Forwards Alex Gellert, Kevin Walrod and now
Chris Zaires.

Trio of Caps commit - Five players now with scholarships
The British Columbia Hockey League promotes itself aggressively as a path to the United States college system, and the Cowichan Valley Capitals have certainly done their part for the players they recruit. Last month, three more Caps committed to colleges, signing on for full-ride scholarships at Division I schools.

Cowichan Valley Capitals take part in a seminar with Vancouver Canucks Strength Coach Roger Takahashi.
In the early part of the season the Cowichan Valley Capitals were able to have Roger Takahashi come to Duncan and go through a core stability session with them. Athletes received some tips from one of the best strength coaches in the hockey industry. This was a great opportunity for our team.

BCHL Honorary Life Membership
