The Caps would take on three goals in the third period, as Ayden MacDonald, who was returning from a four-game suspension, made it 3-0; Jared Domin would score on the following shift and Justin Perron scored late in the period. The Capitals had a season-high 48 shots and allowed a season-low 17. Goalie Lane Michasiw earned the shutout win – his second of the season and fourth of his BCHL career.
Capitals trade Keremidschieff to Lloydminster
Ahead of the Jan 10 BCHL trade deadline, the Caps sent D Jake Keremidschieff (98) to the Lloydminster Bobcats of the Alberta Junior Hockey League for future considerations.
